Those who took part included John Gielgud, Gladys Cooper, Sybil Thorndike, Edith Evans and Gerald du Maurier. Cover design and woodblock illustration by Edward Gordon Craig. Loosely inserted is a 4 page pamphlet by E.V. Lucas on 'The Ellen Terry Memorial' reprinted from the "Sunday Times" where it first appeared on May 10th, 1936. Some foxing to the upper wrapper of the programme; two burns holes to the E.V. Lucas item (text unaffected).
