PRIESTLEY (Joseph).
The Evidence of the Resurrection of Jesus Considered, In a Discourse; First Delivered in The Assembly-Room, at Buxton, On Sunday, September 19, 1790. To Which is Added, An Address to the Jews.
Birmingham, Printed by J. Thompson, for J. Johnson. 1791. First edition. Recent wrappers. 8vo. pp. xxiii, [1], 56. A powerful argument for the resurrection. Among the audience was the Irish statesman Henry Grattan. Published in the same year as Priestley's home in Birmingham was wrecked by a rioting mob, this is the only edition. A very good copy.
