A posthumous collection edited by the author's brother, Edward Cheney. Includes 'Rossano: A Neapolitan Story', a novella set amongst the English community in Naples in the 1820s (the story was written in 1830) and based on a superstition that holds a particular power over Neapolitans. A finely printed volume in very good condition. BL copy only in COPAC.
