Van Capelleveen "A New Checklist of Books designed by Charles Ricketts and Charles Shannon" B11a; Nelson 1893.8; Colbeck 197.13. With an inscription to the publisher Grant Richards: "To Grant Richards Esq with every kind thought from J. D. [? - surname illegible] Mar. 13/1929." Frontispiece and five illustrations and cover design by Charles Ricketts. The final illustration is of De Tabley's bookplate which was designed and engraved by William Bell Scott. Vellum discoloured, chipped at head of spine and with a small crack half-way down, a few small ink (?) spots on spine.
