A novel set in Edinburgh published anonymously but attributed to Mrs. Walker by the National Library of Scotland. COPAC lists the first work at the BL, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Manchester, NLS and Oxford and the second at the BL, Cambridge, Glasgow, NLS and Oxford. 15 pp. advertisements at end of the first work; 2 pp. advertisments at end of volume two. Small marginal tear to corner of pages 189-92 (no textual loss), neatly rebacked with a new paper label, otherwise a very good copy.
