Presentation copy from Alice Douglas: "To Miss Palmer With the warmest regards of her attached friend Alice Douglas, August 13th 1858." The first of Douglas's two books of verse. Contains lines "On emigrants sailing to America." Cloth partially split on upper joint, covers faded, spine label rubbed. Leeds, National Library of Wales and BL in COPAC.
