[CALDICOTT (Sir Andrew)?]

Oxford: A Satire.

Edinburgh, printed by Morrison & Gibb Limited. N.D. [1907] First edition. Original green wrappers. 8vo. pp. 15. A poem in heroic verse which imitates the third Satire of Juvenal "wherein the foolishness of the institutions of this University, and the dullness and dishonesty of its inhabitants are for the first time properly exposed". Attributed in COPAC to Sir Andrew Caldicott by Durham, the National Library of Scotland and the National Library of Wales while the BL identifies the author on the strength of a MS note to Geoffrey Howard. A very good copy.
