Kiøbenhavn, Johan Rudolph Thiele, 1787. 8vo. xvi + 434 pp. + 5 engraved plates (2 folding), numbered i–vi. Pp. 275/6 is a folding table. Contemporary Danish calf tooled to a panel design, large floral gilt border enclosing a central panel gilt stamped with the initials JJ on the upper cover, skilfully rebacked, endpapers renewed. Scarce description of Skagen. The author was a famous Icelander who spent his later years as a customs officer at Skagen.
