One of 100 copies printed on large paper (28.3 x 21.3 cm.), bound in contemporary crimson morocco gilt, sides decorated with a triple fillet border and delicate cornerpieces, spine gilt in six compartments, olive label, raised bands, blue glazed endpapers, gilt edges. Spines somewhat faded, one corner bumped.
One of the rare copies with cancellandum leaves P1 (pp. 113/4) and Q4 (pp. 127/8) preserved and the cancellans leaves in their original position as part of the last preliminary sheet (f2 & f3). Dibdin, Greek and Latin Classics (1827), p. 217. Brunet, 3, col. 1258.
