Printed title-page to volume one within engraved architectural border, engraved armorial headpiece. Contemporary red morocco, covers with outer double fillet, fleur-de-lys at corners, upper cover with cartouche enclosing the arms and initials of Philipp Eduard Fugger (1546–1618), lower cover with oval stamp of Christ holding an orb, spine in six compartments with raised bands, each with a centrally placed flower-head tool, gilt edges, duplicate stamp of the Vienna Imperial library on last leaf, joints and scratches on lower cover neatly repaired, ties lacking.
