Contemporary full vellum. A fine copy. Provenance: from the library of the Earl of Macclesfield, with engraved bookplate and small blindstamp on title-leaf. Gautrek’s saga is presented on pp. 1–66 and Hrólf’s saga Gautrekssonar on pp. 66–292, both in old Icelandic with parallel Swedish translation. Added to the edition is Joh. Buraeus’ “Monumenta lapidium aliquot runicorum”, with woodcuts of runic inscriptions. Without the engraved plate which is referred to on p. 43 of Verelii notae, known in a few copies only: “ett kopparstick som ingen saknat, emedan ingen, sedan Verelii tid, synes afvetat dess tillvaro” (Klemming).
