Paris Contact Publishing Co. 1923, First Edition No Jacket Soft Cover Very Good 12mo., 122pp. A rare book in handsome brown linel clamshell, and matching slipcase (red spine label with gilt letters). This autobiography shows revealing glimpses of the protagonist's life, between the ages of 15 and 24. This copy is slightly discolored on the spine, which has a loose chip at head, and 3/8" chip lost at tail. The interior is clean and tight, except for minor spotting on outer pages.

About Us
The owner, Richard Murian, has a BA in History from the University of California Davis; a MLS from the University of California, Berkeley; a Masters of Divinity from Trinity in Biblical Studies and a MA from California State University, Sacramento in the History of the American West. My further graduate studies were in Renaissance and Reformation studies with an emphasis on Italian humanism. My bookselling career began in 1970 under my own name but chose the name Alcuin Books in 1979 a name that has reflected my interest and philosophy. I have had open stores in Phoenix and since 2003 we have been in Scottsdale, Arizona.
