Olegas Truchanas Publication Committee Hobart 1975 1st edition. Square 4to. 144pp, 44 colour plates, 13 other illus, including 2 maps. Original cloth with dustwrapper (from a later impression). A little pale foxing on verso of free endpapers and facing pages, otherwise a nice clean copy. Very good. ISBN 0959821201 ***Truchanas was the leading wilderness photographer of his day and a fine bushman. He was drowned while canoeing in the Gordon River Gorge in January 1972, during the unsuccessful campaign to save Lake Pedder from inundation. This first edition was published by a private committee of his friends, and there were a further seven impressions, by other publishers.
