[2]ff, 259pp. Bound in contemporary calf, the covers with a gilt roll border and blocked in blind (corners repaired), rebacked with a new black goatskin label, new endleaves. Tear repaired at the foot of the title-page. Some minor soiling and staining. Cooper's translation was first published by Newbery in 1787 and Bewick's woodcuts first appeared in the edition of 1792.
