Aux Depens De La Compagnie Amsterdam 1722 Engraved frontispiece in vol.1, title pages printed in red and black with an engraved vignette. 6 volumes. 12mo. Bound in contemporary sprinkled calf, the spines divided into six panels with gilt compartments, lettered in the second panel on a red goatskin label and numbered in the third panel which has been darkened, the other panels tooled with a floral ornament and the headcaps with a hatched pallet, plain endleaves, red sprinkled edges. A fine copy of Brumoy's famous work on the Greek theatre.
