The whole founded on the Experience of Edmond Hoyle, Gent. Title printed in red and black. 8vo. [3]ff, 84, 24, 121-224, [15] pp. Bound in contemporary quarter sheep, marbled sides, plain spine (worn). With one leaf of advertisements at the beginning and two at the end. There are separate title-pages to the four parts, each dated 1748. There is a notice on the verso of the title to the first part that "the Proprietor has alreasy obtained an Injunction against Nine Persons for pirating or selling pirated Editions". The notice "To the Reader" is signed in manuscript by Hoyle. A little light browning but a good copy. Bookplate of Frederick Perkins of Chipstead Place, Kent.
