A New Edition. 2 volumes. 8vo. iv, 452 pp; [i]f, 374, [66] pp. Bound in contemporary tree calf, smooth spines divided into six panels by gilt pallets, lettered in the second on a green goatskin label and numbered in the fourth on a small oval red label, the other panels with a medallion centre and calligraphic scroll corners, edges of the boards hatched in gilt, plain endleaves, light yellow edges. (Upper joint of vol.1 slightly split at the head and foot, a little rubbed). This is the second edition, having been previously published in 1774. Small damp stains at the foot of the last two leaves in vol.1 and at the foot of the inner margin of the title in vol.2. A good copy in a very attractive binding.
