[Engraved bill head]. Bo[ugh]t of Perc[ival]l Bentley, Laceman At the Turk's Head & Cock in Bedford Street Covent Garden

1761 [190 x 238 mm] With a vignette of a Turk's Head and Cock, completed in manuscript and dated 14th July, 1761. The bill is made out to Sir Thomas Seabright Bart who paid a total of £31.13.10½ for 13 yards of silver vellum lace and 19 yards of broad gold brocade clouded purple lace. Bentley was finally able to issue the receipt on 21st December 1763.
