[229 x 141 x 35 mm]. x, 384 pp. Bound c.1900 by J. Larkins (signed on the front turn-in) in brown calf, the covers with a fillet border, the spine divided into six panels with gilt compartments, lettered in the second and third on red and blue labels and dated at the foot on a white label, the other panels tooled with a ship and an anchor, the turn-ins tooled with a gilt roll, marbled endleaves, gilt edges. (Joints slightly rubbed). The free endleaves are a little foxed and there are a few trivial spots, but a very good copy. Circular leather bookplate of Alexander Lawson Duncan of Jordanstone House, Perthshire.
