An Application of the Whole to the Practice of Pharmacy and Medicine. First Edition. 12mo. [2]ff, 275pp. Old calf covers (rebacked, new endleaves). Entirely uncut, and with some sheets unopened. The original stab holes and those from a second sewing are visible, and in places touch the text. Title-page and a few margins a little dust-soiled, and a few light spots. The work was republished, in two volumes, in 1772. William Falconer (1744-1824) moved from Chester to Bath in January 1770, and in 1784 was appointed to the Bath General Hospital. This was his first published work, and was followed by a pile of others.
