The folded sheets for both parts of vol. I of this impressive catalogue, without the plates. The first part records the manuscripts and the second the early printed Bibles. A second volume, published in 1837, comprised the Bibles in modern languages. The library was sold by Messrs Evans over 24 days from 1st July 1844. The first and last pages are a little soiled and frayed at the edges, but the box is now doing its job of protecting them.
