Robinson after Guernico, title printed in black and red with the Pickering device. 8vo. [227 x 147 x 26 mm]. xiv, 248 pp. Bound in contemporary blue goatskin over slightly bevelled boards, the covers with a gilt single fillet border with a fleuron in the corners. The spine divided into six panels, the bands flanked by a gilt fillet, lettered in the second and third panels, the others tooled with a cross, the edge of the boards tooled with a gilt roll, the wide turn-ins with a gilt roll used twice, marbled endleaves, gilt edges. (Very slightly rubbed). Some spotting and light foxing. The binding is simple but handsome and may be the work of Hayday. Previously published by Pickering and John Major in 1828. This edition comprised 750 copies.
