[5]ff, 420pp. Bound in contemporary calf, the covers panelled in blind, the spine divided into six panels, lettered in the second on a red goatskin label and with paper labels with ink shelf-marks at the head and foot, plain endleaves, red sprinkled edges. Occasional light browning but a fine copy from Shirburn Castle, with the South Library bookplate and the Earl of Macclesfield's blind stamp. Collier's translation of Marcus Aurelius was first published in 1701, and reissued in 1702.
