[198 x 123 x 33 mm]. [12]ff, xvi, [xvi], 440. Bound in contemporary sprinkled calf, the spine divided into six panels, without any form of lettering other than a small paper shelf-label, the edges of the boards tooled with a gilt roll, plain endleaves, red sprinkled edges. Each of the four parts and the appendix has a separate title-page. The general title is browned but it is a fine copy from Shirburn Castle, with the South Library bookplate and the Earl of Macclesfield's blind stamp. A translation of Imitatio Christi, first published in 1715 and again in 1716.
