(of Denmark, 1844-1925, Queen of Edward VII) Unsigned autograph verse on the death of her Nanny, Elizabeth Jones,
“Take care for Christians / When yr friends / For Jesus fall asleep / Their better being never ends/ Why then dejected weep?”, written on the front of a mourning envelope with her monogrammed seal on the flap, together with the original manuscript leaf which probably accompanied the flowers which she sent to the funeral, presumably she dictated the lines, “For my beloved darling Jonnie from her sorrowing ever grateful, Alexandra... Pray for me in Heaven nearer my God to thee ...”, 1 side 8vo. on mourning paper, no place, 13th May 1881
