Some slight foxing to endpapers. Vols 1 & 3 have occasional margin notes by Alwyn Coleridge as to the present location of some of the manuscripts. All volumes are signed by Alwyn Coleridge and all volumes are inscribed to Alwyn by Earl Leslie Griggs. Included in Volume 1 is a letter from Griggs to Coleridge & 3 photographs of Griggs, one of which has typed on it “ In his casket Sun. Nov 30 1975. Earl’s left eye very badly damaged when struck and terrible cut on head.” The photograph is of Griggs in his coffin, but taken from the right side, so no gamage is visible. Griggs was killed in a car crash.
