Loosely inserted is a good signed letter from Balfour mentioning the success of the book. ëA romance, taken from the chronicles of Sir Jeremy Clephane, Kingís Justice and Knight of the shire of Fife, overlooked by Master Judas Fraser, Dominie of the Parish of Kirktoun, and rendered into a more modern English by Andrew Balfour.í Worn at spine ends, some rubbing and soiling. Good only but sound copy.
