No Publisher Noted, No Place Noted, No Date (1840s). First Edition. Wraps. Small 8vo. Wraps. pp 60.Italian text. No publishing details or date given but appears to be Naples, 1840s. Attractively bound in 1920s patterned wraps. Luigi Settembrini (1813-1877) was an Italian patriot. A scarce libellous work published anonymously and distributed in secret- an indictment of the Bourbon rule of southern Italy (King Ferdinand II). Clean and bright, about fine.
