Loosely inserted is a single-page 1985 signed typed letter from John Gohorry explaining the gift, with two publisher's flyers, etc. A poem in Chaucerian style. Crown 4to. (24)pp. Linocut frontispiece and wood-engraving of an astrolabe by Howard Phipps. Original ivory wrappers, printed on upper wrapper in black; wrappers slightly spotted, but otherwise very good.
