A presentation copy, inscribed (to Alan Hancox), signed (twice) and dated in the year of publication by Duncan Glen. An essay on publishing Hugh MacDiarmid, the founding of Akros Publications, etc., together with a bibliography of the first fifty Akros publications. Reprints two poems of MacDiarmid, "The Glog-Hole" and "Dandelion". Demy 4to. 28pp. Original plain white stapled wraps; a touch bruised; vertical crease to upper wrap; a few faint marks, but a good copy in the original heavy green dust-jacket, printed on upper wrap in white - similarly a little bruised and creased.
