Macmillan. London 1953 1st English edition of the author’s first book. 192 x 125mm. pp(vii),352. Spine faded. Couple of faint spots on upper board. Very slight upper fore-corner creasing to first few pages. Otherwise very good in the original cloth. A very scarce title by the late Kurt Vonnegut. 3000 copies were printed of this first English edition of which at least 1000 were pulped. The American first edition was in wraps.
