Some foxing, confined largely to preliminary and final leaves and to the fore and lower edges. Top edge gilt. Spine faded. Fine else in the original brick red buckram. The first issue with "David" at line 9 on page 56, in later issues replaced by "Saul". A clipping from the Sunday Times (23.12.45) to this effect laid in.
