Munich, [privately published by] Weber lith., January 1844. Folio (440 x 290 mm.), pp. [4]; lithographed throughout, including 7 litho plates, and 1 litho letter (in 4to) loosely inserted; a fine copy, uncut as issued in original cream litho wrappers, the inside front cover of the wrappers with litho text. Very rare first and only edition of a detailed work on the construction of a cast-iron peat-burning bread-oven. The author and inventor of the bread-oven was a master locksmith in Munich. He also used this publication as a trade catalogue as the loosely inserted litho letter offers the reader more detailed information and has blank spaces left for the appropriate prices to be inserted. A stunningly rare, early and well preserved trade catalogue. Not in NUC, OCLC or RLIN; KVK locates only the Dresden copy in German libraries (incomplete, has no text, and no inserted letter).
