Vincenzi e compagno, 1827. 8vo, pp. pp. xi, 316, uncut, with 2 folding engraved plates; some light spotting here and there, light stain in the gutter, not affecting text; bound in the original printed beige wrappers, with ornamental border and two vignettes. First edition. In April Duke Francesco IV had ordered that all Roman inscription in the territory of Modena should be collected and displayed in the Opera di Carità building. Cavedoni together with Carlo Malmusi, the first curator of the museum, wrote the catalogue of the collection.
