First edition, printed on hand-made paper at the Chiswick Press. There was a revised edition in 1894, and in 1935 the Gregynog Press brought out an edition with engravings from a selection of the drawings that Edward Burne-Jones had prepared for William Morris’s Cupid and Psyche, a work that was never published.
