Written by a well-read official of the administration of Strasbourg (he mentions Quesnay, Steuart and Adam Smith), this work on political economy deals with the right of property and the resulting inequalities, supply and demand of luxury goods, division and value of labour. Further chapters are on foreign trade and monetary questions.
