Berlin, Veit, 1844. 8vo, pp. [iv], 123, [1] blank; a very nice, crisp copy, uncut and partly unopened in contemporary plain paper wrappers, with a paper spine label. First edition. A Mecklenburg Junker of noble stock, Bülow-Cummerow (1775–1851) was a staunch opponent of the Zollverein and it is this sentiment which fills the present work, in which he rejects the ideas expressed in favour of a customs union in List’s Das nationale System der politischen Oekonomie (1841) and the Zollvereinsblatt.Humpert 10365; Kress C.6246; Menger, col. 138; not in Goldsmiths’.
