Paris: Bibliothèque des Curieux, L’Histoire Romanesque, 1914 First edition. Pictorial wrappers. Wrappers slightly creased, lower wrapper torn and defective, else a very good copy. Although published under Apollinaire’s name, La Fin de Babylone was written almost entirely by his friend Rene Dalize. Apollinaire introduced some of his friends into the narrative, under such transparent veils as Dhi-Sor (Dyssord) and Math-San (Madsen).
