Large 4to, orig. printed wrappers bound in cont. cloth-backed marbled boards (foot of spine a little worn). Königsberg: 1861. The catalogue of the juridical and historical MSS. at the University library of Königsberg, which traces its origins to 1534 and the castle library of the Dukes of Prussia, and 1544 when the University was founded. Many of the MSS. in this library come from the donation of Martin von Wallenrodt (d. 1632), who left a collection of 3000 volumes in 1623. Most of the MSS., described here very fully and carefully, are of the 14th to 16th centuries. More than 415 MSS. are described. With excellent indexes. Very good copy.
