London, Longman, Brown, Green, Longmans, and Roberts. 1857. First edition. Original green fine-ribbed cloth. 8vo. pp. iv. 149. Wilberforce's first poem is a continuation of 'Don Juan'. A contemporary cutting tipped in describes his verse as "simply dull". Blanchard's work is regarded as superior and is referred to as the sort that "might pass muster in an annual". Signed by Wilberforce opposite the title-page. 24 pp. undated advertisements. Spine dulled, upper cover lightly damp-stained.
