saying “The desired songs with Bells-accompaniment I will write for you; - it will be rather difficult for the more elaborate ones to find the right”, the “Belfast-Fantasy” is nearly ready, and then he has first to finish “a Cantata for Novellos”, as for new piano pieces, “Perhaps I find more leasure in the summer”, and asking if he should send “for approval some compositions of the kind you wish from other composers already published”, 3 sides 5½” x 4¼”, Braunschweig, 14th March 1881,
