First edition. Last Poems, collected by Robert Browning after his wife’s death, includes translations composed before their marriage and poems on the state of Italy written since Poems before Congress, including her tribute to Garibaldi. Several of her most familiar lyrics also appear here for the first time, among them ‘A Musical Instrument’, ‘Bianca among the Nightingales’, ‘Lord Walter’s Wife’, ‘My Heart and I’, and ‘De Profundis’.
