First edition of this collection of poems: 'I have chosen not the best pieces, nor my favourite ones, but those in which I convey with enough clarity my basic perception of our time as one of great eves'. Ehrenburg and his wife moved to Berlin in October 1921, and the book is published by one of the many Russian-language publishers in the city at that time.Tarasenkov p. 424. Not in Kilgour.
