Paris, chez Basan & Prault, 1776. 8vo, pp. [2], 221, with charming engraved frontispiece by Choffard and 14 engraved plates (4 folding) by Weïbrood; a very good copy in modern marbled boards, spine with black labels. A fine catalogue of predominantly Dutch and Flemish drawings with a sprinkling of Italian and French schools in just under 1300 lots. The remainder of the sale was made up of a handful of paintings, prints and some serious architectural books. Although Basan announced the sale to be 'at the end of June', it took place from 8th to 11th of July.Lugt 2566.
