HISTORY OF THE BIBLE.
Hartford Julius Gilman 1827 i-x, 178 pp. Page 12 printed as page 2, and page 114 printed as page 14, though Adomeit notes only the latter. This thumb Bible is illustrated with twelve full-page wood engravings of scenes and characters from familiar Bible stories. Adomeit records thirteen copies, two of which are noted as poor. In original full brown leather with four gilt rules to spine. Extremities rubbed, pages lightly foxed, still a near fine copy. Slightly taller than Adomeit's measurements. (Adomeit A62).
