enclosing “a statement of the case of the recruit ... I ascertained the facts ... to my own satisfaction before I left the country, but I directed a judicial inquiry” so that Mulgrave should be in no doubt about the case’s “very irregular nature”, 1 side oblong 8vo., Argyll House, 6th August 1843 Lord Aberdeen was Ambassador to Vienna, 1813, and Mulgrave in the Cabinet as Master of the Ordinance, 1810-1818, having been Foreign Secretary.
