Werner, 1706. 4to. vi + 74 pp. Sewn as issued in later wrappers, entirely uncut.One hundred precious books and manuscripts from the Sparwenfeld donation to Uppsala University Library are described, including 41 Arabic, 8 Greek, and 7 Latin codices, both mediaeval and renaissance; the 41 printed books include (on pp. 65 & 71) five Chinese block-printed volumes, and also the famous world map (1674) by Ferdinand Verbiest. According to an inscription in three of the Chinese books, these were presented to Sparwenfeld by Philippe Couplet in 1690. Almquist, Sv. bibl. litt., 2838.
