Auction sale catalogue, together with printed results list, of the celebrated print collection of the Leipzig merchant Ernst Peter Otto (1724-99). More than 10,000 lots were auctioned off over three sales (29th September 1851 German and English school, 1st March 1852 Italian and French school and 17th May 1852 Dutch school), lasting several days each. The cataloguer was Rudolf Weigel. The first sixteen lots in the second sale offered the niello prints attributed to Tommaso di Finiguerra, the most celebrated of the Otto prints, which he had bought from the Baron Stosch collection.
