Leaf size and condition: 190 x 120mm. A little browning but a good fresh copy. Binding: Contemporary sheep, red edges. A little rubbed. Provenance and annotation: Early initials 'J. § The final edition of the Hungarian Jesuit's course in mathematics taught at the University of Vienna. When the Jesuits were suppressed in Vienna in 1773, Mako returned to Hungary. OCLC locates copies of the first edition (1764) at the Université Louis Pasteur, Munich and Niedersachsen; the second (1766), 'emendata' at Louis Pasteur and at Tilburg, and the Venice reprint (1784) at St Charles Borromeo Seminary, PA. This third edition is the only one found in US libraries, at Bancroft and Chicago.
