Description of shop:

Founded in Oxford in 1835, the city's oldest bookshop left Broad street in the centre in January 2003. Business continues by mailorder, and internet  We are members of the Booksellers Association of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (BA) , the Antiquarian Booksellers Association (ABA) and ILAB . We are always interested in buying rare and good academic books. The White Horse Bookshop, where we stocked our cheaper titles, closed down on 31.12.2011.

Sales information: All sales are final, damaged books and those not as described can be returned at our expense. We accept most credit cards up to £75.00 (over this amount only from clients with approved accounts) and payments in US$ and Euro's. we have additional accounts in the USA, Germany and The Netherlands. Libraries will be supplied on account on receipt of official orders by post, fax or e-mail. Shipping charges to be quoted (surface mail or airmail) on request. Ask to join one of our many e-mail lists. Correspondence in English, French, German, Dutch and Spanish. As we are university booksellers we sell many new titles and orders for such titles are either supplied from stock or after arrival from publishers in the UK and abroad. We send foreign orders for books costing more than £10.00 by signed delivery unless you ask us not to do so and accept full responsibility for any subsequent loss. All orders received are accepted on the basis that clients are fully aware of this. Books ordered from other European countries take about 3 weeks to reach us, from the Americas 5 to 12 weeks, from the Middle East 4 to 8 weeks, from Russia 4 to 8 weeks.
